UVLS clear coatings are water-based, architectural-grade solutions perfect for both interior and exterior applications. Crafted with an acrylic and aliphatic urethane resin, these clears are super durable and offer excellent adhesion. They won't yellow over time, ensuring long-lasting protection. The term UVLS stands for Ultra-Violet Light Stabilizer, meaning these clears come with built-in UV protection for underlying colors. This is especially useful when applying a top-coat over candy2o and other dyes or stains. You can choose from 4 different gloss levels: 4050 Gloss, 4051 Satin, 4052 Matte, and 4053 High Gloss. The 4050 Gloss air dries to a semi-gloss finish and can be buffed and polished to a shiny look. The 4051 Satin and 4052 Matte maintain a consistent gloss level, even when extra material is applied. The 4053 High Gloss is Createx's shiniest clear option. You can also mix different UVLS Clears to customize the gloss level. Additionally, these clears have an ASTM E84 Class A fire rating for smoke and flame spread, providing an extra layer of safety.

Using this Createx UVLS Clear Protective Coating is easy. First, make sure the surface you're applying it to is clean and dry. You can choose the gloss level that suits your needs from the four available options - 4050 Gloss, 4051 Satin, 4052 Matte, or 4053 High Gloss. If you want a custom gloss level, you can mix different types together. For the 4050 Gloss, let it air dry to a semi - gloss finish and then you can buff and polish it for a glossier look. The 4051 Satin and 4052 Matte will keep a consistent gloss no matter how much you apply. When using, make sure to work in a well - ventilated area. Also, keep in mind that this coating has a great fire rating, but still take normal fire safety precautions. To maintain the coating, clean it gently with a mild soap and water solution. Avoid using abrasive cleaners as they may damage the finish.
