To use the Ben Nye Tattoo Cover Palette, first activate the dry pigments in each cell with 99% alcohol. You can either add alcohol directly into the color cell or wet a brush with it. The color density depends on the amount of alcohol and the activation time. Use less alcohol and more time for opaque colors, and more alcohol and less time for sheer colors. Apply the colors to your skin using a brush or sponge, building them up in thin layers. You can also use a hard - bristled brush to flick droplets of multiple skin - tone shades for a natural look. Apply a similar skin - tone shade before using a foundation or concealer that matches exactly. The Rose Adjuster shade can be used as the first layer to neutralize the tattoo color. For detailed info, check out our Tattoo Cover Guide. To clean the colors from your skin, the best way is to use Remove - It All. Pour it on a cloth or paper towel and rub on the skin. You can also reactivate the colors with alcohol and wipe them away. Remember to use the alcohol colors in a well - ventilated area.
