Details

Lumin's Workshop Ultra Light Foam Clay is an incredibly lightweight and highly versatile molding material. It's perfect for adding fine details to your foam armor and other DIY creations. Available in both 150g and 300g packs. Note: this foam clay may freeze in cold conditions. When fully frozen, it turns rubbery and solid. Even after thawing, it won't be as smooth and silky as before. This foam clay starts as a foamy putty - it stretches and blends beautifully. As the surface begins to dry, it can be tricky to smooth the lines, so a tiny bit of water can help. Once your project is done, let it air - dry. Larger pieces will take longer. Once fully cured, it becomes a high - density foam that you can cut, sand, heat - form, and glue onto your costume. You don't have to heat - seal the cured pieces, but priming before painting is a great idea. We suggest waiting around 48 hours for curing before painting. If your piece is large, the center might not be fully cured, which is normal. You can prime and paint before full internal curing, but wait until it's fully cured before cutting and sanding the surface layer.

Using Lumin's Workshop Ultra Light Foam Clay is a breeze. First, start shaping the foamy putty - like clay to add details to your foam armor or other DIY projects. As it starts to dry, if you find it hard to smooth the lines, just add a tiny bit of water. After finishing your piece, let it air - dry. Remember, bigger pieces will take more time. We recommend waiting about 48 hours before painting. Even if the center of a large piece isn't fully cured at that time, you can still prime and paint it. But hold off on cutting and sanding the surface until it's completely cured. Be aware that this foam clay may freeze in cold weather. If it does freeze, it'll turn rubbery and solid. When it thaws, it won't be as smooth. And don't forget, while heat - sealing isn't necessary after curing, priming before painting will give you a better result.
