Smiths Prosthetic Deadener is an essential gelling agent for use with Platsil Gel 10. If you're making a prosthetic part and wish to make it soft like real flesh, you can add up to 200% of this deadener. For facial prosthetics, 175% is a typical amount. Note that when using the Smiths Deadener, it turns the material into a sticky gel. So, it should be encapsulated before pouring. We suggest using Super Baldiez, Baldiez or Platsil Gel 10 sponged into the mould.
