Ben Nye Modeling wax is a versatile and essential tool for special effects makeup. It's flexible yet firm, allowing you to easily alter facial features like creating a broken nose, an extended chin or nose, or adding bullet holes and wounds. The wax has a translucent quality that closely mimics the look of real skin. For better adhesion, apply Spirit Gum under the wax. You can texture it with a Stipple Sponge and seal it with Liquid Latex. Each ounce of this wax can provide 4 - 25 applications, making it a cost - effective choice. This is BEN NYE's Nose & Scar special FX makeup. Available in different colors and sizes: Fair Wax comes in NW - 1 (28gm./1oz.), NW - 2 (71gm./2.5oz.), NW - 3 (226gm./8oz.), NW - 4 (454gm./16oz.); Light Brown Wax in LBW - 1 (28gm./1oz.), LBW - 2 (71gm./2.5oz.), LBW - 3 (226gm./8oz.); and Brown Wax in BW - 1 (28gm./1oz.), BW - 2 (71gm./2.5oz.), BW - 3 (226gm./8oz.).

Using BEN NYE Nose and Scar Wax is easy. First, take the wax out of the container with a tool like a Wooden Modeling Tool (MT - 1) or Metal Spatula (SP - 1). Shape it with your fingers to look like an irregular broken bone. Put the simulated bone fragment with a jagged edge into the prosthetic wound. You can also use the wax to create torn or lacerated wounds on bony surfaces. Seal the edges of the wax with Clear Latex, then apply setting powder and a thin layer of Castor Sealer before coloring. Add Stage Blood at the wound penetration. Use a coarse - pore stipple sponge to create an irregular Fresh Scab texture along the wound opening. Finish with FX Creme Colors. When you're done, remove the wax with a modeling tool. Clean your skin with Spirit Gum Remover, Quick Cleanse, or just soap and water. Remember to store the wax in a cool, dry place to keep it in good condition.
